This watch looked so cool when I saw it for the first time. It gave me the feeling of a G-Shock watch that I love. I own a couple of G-Shock watches and the No.1 F3 is a nice addition to the my watch collection. Is the No.1 F3 worth it and does it meet my expectations?

Unboxing
The box is pretty simple. It has the brand name on top, No.1 and at the bottom you find some specifications. In the box of the No.1 F3 is nothing special. Since you can not charge the No.1 F3, there is no cable or anything. Just the No.1 F3 and a short manual.
Hardware & Design
I still really like the design of the No.1 F3. It has a nice round design and it looks a bit like a G-Shock watch. Making it smart is a nice move of No.1 and I had high hopes of this watch, but I was kind of let down. But later more on that.. The band is nice and it fits really well and you can easily change it to match your outfit.
Software
To use the No.1 F3 you need to download the Fundo Bracelet app. In this app you can connect the No.1 F3 and see all the captured data.
Application
The application is simple, looks childish but gives you all the information you want and need. I will quickly go over the menu’s but not go into details of all the menu’s and submenu’s.

In the first menu, “Me”, you can log in with your account, set your step goal or update the No.1 F3 for example.
On the second menu, “Home Page”, you see the progress of the day. See your steps taken and sleep taken.
On the last menu, “More”, you can do numerous things, like finding the bracelet, set which app is allowed to give notifications or disable/enable Call/SMS notifications for example.
Make sure to play around with the app when you first use the No.1 F3, there are a lot of things you cna set up or disable to make it even more personal for you.
Features
The No.1 F3 has a lot of cool features that made me buy it at first, like being waterproof, having a barometer, altimeter and measure my sleep. That sounds really good for a watch that does not costs more then €20. Also the battery life of 1 year is really amazing.
How to set up?
There is not really something that you can set up about the watch. You can register for a profile on the Fundo Bracelet app, but the watch itself is really easy to configure. Just connect to your smartphone and it takes the time and date from your smartphone and it is configured! When starting an activity, it will calculate the burned calories according to your weight and length. Super easy and fast!
How to connect No.1 F3?
First you have to download the application Fundo Barcelet an register with an account or log in with your own account.
Turn on the watch and pair it with your smartphone via the Bluetooth settings.
Now you have to go the “Me” menu in the left lower corner of the screen.
Click on “Search Bluetooth Device” and click on the “Search” button.
Now your smartphone is searching for the No.1 F3 and it will appear underneath the blue circle.
Click on the F3 and the connection is made.
You will see the time change of the watch and the connection is succesful.
Notifications
The notifications bothered me at first. When you received a notification, you would feel a light vibration on the watch, which is fine. There are also 5 beeps (loud!) heard which are super annoying. Now when I used this watch, there was no way to turn it off. I found this so annoying that I had to take the watch off within a couple of hours. People around me heard it and started to look at me weird.

Activities
This is a smart watch and a smart watch needs to track activities. Luckily the No.1 F3 is able to do that. There is a list of things to track or measure with this watch. Here are just some examples:
This is not all, there are some other features, so here is picture of all the things to track or measure with the No.1 F3:
Battery Life
The battery life is very good if you ask me. You are able to last for around a year on a single coin cell battery. Now that is also the downside, it is a coin cell battery. You are not able to charge the No.1 F3. When it is empty, you have to go to a shop to have the battery replaced and hope it will stay waterproof.
The battery life, like I said, is very good! Lasting a year with a smartwatch is super long and I can’t think of a watch that accomplish the same amount of battery life.
Conclusion
The No.1 F3 is a nice watch to see but the features are pretty basic and it is just not the watch for me. Even though I like the looks of it, but there are some flaws that I can not overcome and that is why I bought the No.1 F5 as well to see if that is better. You have only one watch face which you are unable to change. This is a down side, but not the worse.
There are a lot of different activities you can start and monitor in the app, which looks good. It is super easy to connect and you are good to go when the connection is made. I can imagine that this watch is ideal for some users, unfortunately it is not the watch for me.
