It is not really a box that the Roll-Up Waterproof Keyboard is in. It is rolled up in some sort of plastic tube with a paper on the sides with information. Inside we find nothing more but the Roll-Up Waterproof Keyboard.

Hardware & Design

Hardware wise there are not that many options to talk about. It is just a silicone keyboard that is easily foldable. It feels durable and not like it will break easily. The keys are easily clickable but it takes sometime getting used to it. It is harder to type on this then on a real keyboard, which makes sense if you ask me.

I like the simplicity of this product and it can make a big difference if you work behind your computer all day. Now a spillage of drinks is not that bad.

How to connect?

The Roll-Up Waterproof Keyboard is basically a plug and play device. All you have to do is just plug it in the device you want to use it with and give it a few seconds, maybe a minute, to install the drivers and you are good to go!

What is really nice is that I bought the AZERTY keyboard by accident but when I plugged it in, it automatically saw that I used to type with QWERTY. The key can not change, but the action behind the key did. After I plugged it in, I was able to type with a QWERTY Keyboard, but the layout was AZERTY.

Wireless Option

Now the version I have still has a USB cable attached that you need to connect. Luckily there is a Wireless Option for you as well! No wires what so ever and easily rolled up! There is only a QWERTY version of that keyboard, be aware of that.

Compatibility

The Roll-Up Waterproof Keyboard is widely compatible. For example, the Roll-Up Waterproof Keyboard is compatible with Windows 10 / 7 / 98 / 2000 / ME / Vista / Android / iOS. I tried the keyboard on a Windows 10 machine and it worked super easy. After connecting it took around 30 seconds before we were ready to use it. Really a plug and play device.

Conclusion

I like this keyboard for on the road. It is easy to carry with you and if you spill a drink over it, there is no issue at all. Eat above it, spill drinks, it does not matter. You can easily clean it with water and you won’t have to buy a new keyboard.

Connecting is easy and it is basically a plug and play device. It is widely compatible so I don’t expect an issue there either.

There are multiple versions available, so choose wisely! For people who use AZERTY, there is a version and for QWERTY users you are covered as well.
