Introduction & Specifications
Having a smartwatch that looks like a regular watch is a plus for me. Especially if you are in a business environment, having an obvious smartwatch can look silly or unprofessional. The round dial of the Amazfit GTR looks good and it does not look like your typical smartwatch or activity tracker. Having all the features that I look for, this could very well be a very promising smartwatch. Let’s look at the specifications.

5ATM! The Amazfit GTR has an incredible waterproof rate. There are two buttons on the Amazfit GTR, the top is to activate the screen, lock the screen or to turn off the smartwatch. The bottom button is used to quickly access sports and other functions. You have to tap it just once quickly. Super easy!

Battery Life
This is important. You (and I) don’t want to charge your smartwatch every evening, like the Apple Watch. The Amazfit GTR is having a 410mAh battery, which is a good battery for such a small device. This results in 24-day battery life in the Amazfit GTR! That is amazing.

Conclusion
without having the ability to physically test this smartwatch, the specifications look really promising. The battery life of 24 days is great and I really like a smartwatch that you can use for multiple days without charging. I had an Apple Watch and this was just the worst experience. Sometimes, I even couldn’t make it to the end of the day! This will be way better with the Amazfit GTR.
There is a long list of sports activities, which is a good thing. It doesn’t matter what kind of sports activity you are doing, with the Amazfit GTR you are able to track it. Besides that, you have a good list of notifications and actions you can start or do from the Amazfit GTR. Just by reading the specifications and abilities, this could very well be a very, very good smartwatch which could make a lot of people happy.
